The Fossils on Mars

For hundreds of years humans have speculated about life on Mars - but as it stands, the planet appears to be a desolate wasteland. With the early loss of its atmosphere, the cold, dry and suffocated Mars was not ever capable of hosting anything but microbes... or was it? The discovery of one huge fossil seeks to smash our Earthly understandings of evolution and biology.

“The Fossils on Mars”, started in 2023, is an ongoing book project consisting of a series of detailed illustrations and models depicting the speculative evolution of life on Mars from the perspective of ‘astro-paleontologists’, building a rich story of discovery informed by real scientific theory.
