Lystrosaurus
Graphite. 2024.
This is a study of a fossil, accessed through National Museums Scotland. This shows the compression of the skull, where the tusks are distorted and the bottom jaw is pushed up far into the skull. Currently awaiting clarification on the species. Lystrosaurus was a late Permian therapsid (mammal relative) which survived into the early Triassic.
